Instagram recently announced some exciting updates about ways to make money through Instagram Live and IGTV too. For starters, they are testing Badges in Instagram Live, which viewers can purchase to support their favorite creators.

Instagram also introduced ads in IGTV to support creators by sharing ad revenue. The video ads will be built for mobile and up to 15 seconds long. They’ll test various experiences within IGTV ads with a small group of creators and advertisers in the US, and will expand slowly over time as they improve the experience.
