What Makes A Marketer Bad For Business
What makes a marketer bad for business, do you know? It just really bothers me when day after day I see all these new product launches from big online vendors. Why? Hint: Many of them are liars. I’m so positive that some of the new and hopeful marketers know who they are, as they probably receive their enticing emails, too. Those big shots, also known as Web gurus, that claim to be making so much money with the system, program, or software they have and are willing to brazenly sell their next shiny products to us — you and me.
If they are so rich already, why don’t they just sit back enjoy their time and money? Why don’t they quit trying to sell their so-called “fantastic products” to others? Why? Simply because all the money they are talking about is the money that you and I are so easy to part with, that’s why. If these internet or affiliate marketers stop getting our money, their income stops. Not to forget to mention that some of these things they offer are so outrageously overpriced.
But there are people out there who spend any amount of money because they are so desperate and willing to do anything at any cost to find that magical formula that will finally make them rich. I’ve heard of many who have fallen into debt for chasing to be successful in the Internet or affiliate marketing.
Some of these big marketers offer “cracking the code” they claim is easy to use and can be used to create virtually anything you might need, but the average person would have no idea how to use it, even if they bought it. You’d have to hire a programmer or expert to set it up so you can make use of it, but all of us already know the fact that programmers and/or experts do not come cheap!
I’m not trying to say that every Internet marketing or affiliate marketer out there is a crook or that all the products offered are just a bunch of hype or bull. There are good marketers and offers out there, but for every ten decent products by marketers, there are five that aren’t, in my opinion. My gut tells me there are only a small number of Web marketers who are making money honestly on the Net. I’m hoping the coming generation of vendors to be good.
Furthermore, did you ever notice that when you receive an email or see an advertisement with a big boys/girls name attached to it, you’ll get ads from almost every other big name out there, offering the same thing? Sure, they each throw in their bonus or special offers, just to get you to buy from them. Not only do they make more money, but they also get you on their list, so they can keep selling to us even more down the road. This is called “in cahoots.”
Indeed, they each scratch the other guy’s back and get paid well for their time and effort, too. They cross-sell, which gives them an advantage. The first offer might not do a thing for you, but the second or third offer you get from a different big name might. Who’s footing the bill for all this success again? Your answer to this is as good as mine. Yes, us — you, me, and the rest of the Internet little guys, and gals who are hopeful to make money online or offline.
But it’s never right for people to sell inferior products or services to the masses at ridiculous prices and we are buying it because of the name attached to it. Isn’t it about time we smartened up? We actually control the numbers on the Web, so why don’t we just stick together and finally help one another starting today by putting a stop to feeding right into their hands, providing them with all the money for their toys, vacations, and fun? Their products or offers must be worth our money and our time. Yes, we need them to be transparent to us.
I’m just an average guy and I’m not rich like many of these marketers. I have been victimized and taken advantage of by many of these very unscrupulous online vendors, some of them didn’t refund my money even they have a 30-day money-back guarantee to their offers. Greedy! Anyway, I believe that I am too honest that I’ll never make it to the “elite club” of Internet marketing or affiliate marketing niche. The big boys and big girls in the affiliate/internet marketing were the only ones who are making the big bucks. Sound familiar?
Don’t get me wrong, though. The Web or the Net does offer one of the biggest opportunities for the masses to create and earn an extra income. There are billions of dollars a year being spent on the Internet these days. It’s growing at an incredible rate each and every day. The best part of all is that even the little guy, who may not even have graduated from high school or college, still has the opportunity and chance to succeed with Internet or affiliate marketing.
Almost anyone of us can make money online with the right help, guidance, training, and support. It’s a matter of leveling the playing field, so no one has the chance to fail. I’m not going to give you a big bunch of hype here or fill you up with false promises, as the big boys do enough of that for all of us already.
I hope this helps out others by giving them a little more insight into Internet marketing or affiliate marketing and what to watch out for and be careful of. I can honestly say there are a large number of self-proclaim online or Internet “gurus” out there nowadays, but very sadly not many of them can be trusted.
Here are some of my personal advice to the little marketer guys and gals out there. Firstly, read a review of the digital product/s you’d like to buy from a trusted site. Secondly, if it’s too good to be true, it probably is, so don’t fall for that! Thirdly, don’t rush and buy every single “shiny object” that may come your way. Fourthly, find a coach in your niche with a good track record of success — I consider myself pro and savvy for all things digital and marketing.
So yes, the large numbers of dishonest, shameful, and greedy product vendors in the affiliate marketing or internet marketing niche are to be blamed for the decline in the trust factor of the consumers to this business. Very sadly, these “bad apples” in this industry are what make the perception of a marketer not so reputable in the eyes and ears of the consumers and community in general.
These are very sobering but true for affiliate marketers or Internet marketing, in my opinion. I hope you have enjoyed reading this article. I feel that I have tried to project the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. I hope you prosper by doing good things for others. Just remember that good deeds begets great things later on. You take care of yourself and each other. Cheers!
